Mini-Exercise 1 Snowy Owls
In this example post, I wanted to choose something I'm interested in, but not yet very knowledgeable about, so I picked snowy owls.
Having grown up in Upstate New York, and now living not far from Toronto in Canada, I've seen a few snowy owls.
On my way home from my parents house, one snowy evening, I accidentally hit one with my car. It must have been after a mouse or something and was swooping in for its meal right as my car approached a corner.
I wasn't able to stop in time. I got out to see if I may be able to get some emergency veterinary services for it, but it was not alive.
I've had increased interest in snowy owls ever since then, but haven't taken the time to learn that much about them.
We'll have a look together and create a nice introductory post on snowy owls.
I like to use Qwant instead of Google as my search engine of choice most of the time. Let's have a look and see what's out there about snowy owls.
