Mini Exercise 1 - Testing Your Skills

You've learned a lot of new tools to help you make your blog posts visually pleasing, interesting, and useful to your readers.

It's time to put your new skills to the test!

Estimated time to complete - 10 to 20 minutes.

What you'll need - Access to your Ghost Blog's Administrative Interface.

Your Task:

This is not graded and is something you'll do on your own.

Choose a topic you like, know, or are interested in.

Create a blog post about the topic.

In your post, incorporate at least three of the tools you've learned so far to make the post interesting and useful to your readers.

Tools you've learned so far are:

  • Images
  • Markdown
  • HTML
  • Galleries
  • Dividers
  • Bookmarks

It is important to become comfortable with the tools you're learning and for you to  think about how they may be used to create interesting, useful posts for your readers.

Try to put yourself in your reader's shoes and think about tools that will make the article visually interesting as well as informative for your audience.
